If you want to win championships, regardless of the sport, you need a strong defence. In October 2020, Valour Football Club took the first step toward a strong spine for the new season. The club ensured defender Andrew Jean-Baptiste would remain in Winnipeg following an excellent performance at the Canadian Premier League’s Island Games. Valour conceded a mere nine goals in seven matches as they narrowly missed out on the playoffs. 

On the last episode of The LZ Sports Show, Mark Adam asked me “How do the Jets stop the Oilers?” And to be honest, he stumped me.

This breakdown is my view of who the hottest teams in the NHL are right now. It’s heavily based on stats, but there is a certain amount of my own personal intuition (gut feeling) involved here as well.
