About Them

Can you please fully explain your business or product line?

Our shop consists of polymer clay accessories, namely earrings, as well as a small 14K-24K gold plated line. We specialize in handcrafted “bouquet” earrings where every flower & petal is hand-cut and carefully crafted to perfection, resulting in one-of-a-kind pieces! We try to carry something for everyone, whether your style is bold and beautiful or elegant and dainty. We also cater to custom orders, such as men’s lapels for special occasions or bridal/bridal party requests.

With the Winnipeg local maker community continuing to grow, what is the most important thing you’d like potential customers of your company to know?

We have a passion for our work and it shows! Every piece is like a dream come to life for us. We aspire to make something for everyone, topped with good quality materials so that you can enjoy it as much as we do!

What inspired you to start your business?

I’m sure everyone can attest to the pandemic hitting them in different ways. In my case, I was looking for a creative way to change the everyday routine of being a stay-at-home Mom. I’m very happy that clay and I hit it off!

What was the biggest struggle you’ve had to overcome?

For me, it’s balance. Between work, being a mom & wife, and also having a business on the side, it takes a lot of discipline on my part to limit the time I spend creating. I love it, but I also love my family, so it’s a constant reminder for me to spend time on what’s most important.

What has been your biggest success as a maker?

Honestly, I’m still amazed that people want to purchase my products! Our biggest overall success so far is being able to sell our product in local retailers including The Locals Collective in both their Outlet Collection & Polo Park locations, as well as The Forks Trading Company.

Do you have any advice that you would pass on to someone hoping to start up their own business or product line?

Just do it! Don’t let fear hold you back from doing your own thing. Do the research, search out what you will need, and just start! And remember that a little trial & error is part of the process!

Please share any upcoming events as well as the best place(s) for people to purchase your product!

The best way to shop our product, besides in person at the previously mentioned locations, is through our website or a simple DM on Instagram. Don’t forget, we take custom orders!
