About Them

Can you please fully explain your business or product line?

wpgnecklaces creates custom jewellery, ready to gift for any occasion! Along with simple necklaces and chains, our creations are perfect for stacking.

With the Winnipeg local maker community continuing to grow, what is the most important thing you’d like potential customers of your company to know?

I am most active on Instagram! DMs are always open to chat about your ideas and bring them to life with meaningful jewellery. I love being a part of the growing small business community here.

What inspired you to start your business?

I started my business in 10th grade when COVID cases really started rising. I had lots of free time on my hands and wanted a creative outlet. I also LOVE wearing jewellery, with necklaces being my favourite accessories. I didn’t expect my business to grow to what it is today.

What was the biggest struggle you’ve had to overcome?

Learning how to get my products to everyone, not only locally here in Winnipeg but as far as I could. Now I offer free shipping Canada & US wide!

What has been your biggest success as a maker?

Being able to connect with so many people and seeing them get excited when they see their necklaces & bracelets. I love when I get repeat & new customers, especially when they tell me someone recommended wpgnecklaces to them!

Do you have any advice that you would pass on to someone hoping to start up their own business or product line?

Go for it!! My best advice would be to start. Tell friends & family and make sure to create social media accounts for others to share your work.

Please share any upcoming events as well as the best place(s) for people to purchase your product!

You can find me on Instagram @wpgnecklaces. If you see something that you like, send me a direct message!
