About Them
Can you please fully explain your business or product line?
We make fun, luxurious, and affordable bath & body products for the entire family. From bath bombs to lotions, soap to aromatherapy, it is all carefully crafted with vegan, cruelty-free ingredients made in small batches.
With the Winnipeg local maker community continuing to grow, what is the most important thing you’d like potential customers of your company to know?
We have always put our focus on using the highest quality ingredients without skimping on the cost to create a product we are proud to sell.
We support Canadian suppliers and partner with many local businesses & charities. We offer private label and wholesale products that the customer can sell with confidence.
What inspired you to start your business?
I started out doing small craft sales selling handmade crochet toys and realized there weren’t a lot of self care products that catered to families and children.
I wanted to make a product that would have all the best qualities while still being affordable. I developed my brand around this focus to be inclusive to all ages and it has grown over the years into what I am extremely proud of today.
What was the biggest struggle you’ve had to overcome?
The biggest struggle I had to overcome was to stick with it even when I was full of self-doubt. I realized I was too focused on what everyone else was doing instead of what I could and should be doing. Changing my mindset gave me the confidence to keep going even when I felt discouraged.
What has been your biggest success as a maker?
My biggest success was getting to the point where I could start hiring staff and expanding our product line across Canada.
Do you have any advice that you would pass on to someone hoping to start up their own business or product line?
I would say that if you are passionate about what you do then don’t give up! Be focused on what it is you really want and take one step at a time. Reach out to other makers; we have an amazing community of people who are always able to offer some advice.
Please share any upcoming events (virtual for the time being, of course) as well as the best place(s) for people to purchase your product!
We will be heading out to the Apple and Pine Market in Brandon on May 8th and out at Pineridge Hollow’s Farmers’ Market on select Saturdays from June through September.
