About Them

Can you please fully explain your business or product line?

We are a mother-daughter duo based in Winnipeg that assembles charcuterie boxes/boards featuring local Manitoba based products and vendors. We carefully select our packaging to be eco friendly. And our boxes are fully customizable.

With the local maker community continuing to grow, what makes you stand out from the rest?

We come from a family that grew up around eating together. This is something we hold dear to our hearts. We love seeing the joy our creations bring to the faces of our family and friends and we wanted to bring that same happiness to fellow Winnipeggers. We carefully select fresh products from local vendors that pair together beautifully, so every box or board is a whole new experience.

What made you realize that you had a product that could be shared with others?

Over the first COVID shut down, we had a lot of time to think and plan. Charcuterie is something we have always enjoyed creating and it has always been a dream of ours to share it with others. So with a little planning, we were able to make our dream a reality.

What has been your biggest success as a maker? Biggest struggle you’ve overcome?

I think our biggest success has been being able to be a part of many special events and occasions for people. Whether it was for a wedding, proposal, thank you to our front line workers, or even just a date night treat. Living in a world with covid has proved to be a challenging uncertain time for so many, but being a part of these events has given people a new normal and something to look forward to. Individual charcuterie boxes and cones have become a new, fun way to continue bringing that happiness to everyone. And we love working with specific requests to create the perfect box or board for you.

Our biggest struggle would be to remind ourselves that comparing ourselves to others is the thief of joy. It is important to be unique and true to ourselves. When we think back to the happiness we felt when we had received our first order, it’s such a great reminder that we started this business because we love to make people happy. If our products can do that, then we have really succeeded.

Any advice that you would tell someone hoping to start up their own business or product line?

The biggest advice we have for a new business owner is, do not compare yourself to others. Being unique is what makes each of us beautiful in our own way. Never give up. Love what you do and do what you love.

Please share any upcoming events (physical events, virtual sales, etc.) that you think Winnipeggers would be interested in!

You’ll find an order form on our Instagram page to put your order(s) in!

We also love giving back to our community, and one of the ways we do so is by doing giveaways. We often partner up with other local makers to feature their products in a giveaway for our fellow Winnipeggers.
